It’s been a little while since my last girl. I’ve been busy with other projects, but I’m definitely still having some excellent fun with this one. It’s tricky, because I’m having difficulty sticking to my 1 hour time limit. But I’ve decided I’m happier creating a finished illustration over a rushed one. I’ll have to do a speed project after Inspired by Nature.
This girl is based on a Narwhal. The Sea Unicorn! I loved their mottled colours and their awesome horn. They live such weird and mysterious lives, up in the arctic ocean.
I’m having trouble picking things from nature to draw. What are your suggestions? I’ll give them a go!
