My third girl, Pōhutukawa. Pōhutukawa is a native New Zealand tree, and they’re way awesome. They live on the coast and typically have awesome exposed root systems.
In the summer they are covered in red flowers (way more than in her hair), and are sometimes called New Zealand’s christmas tree because of the colours and the time when they bloom.
